1. Take the 10FWY past Palm Springs and Indio to the 86S Expressway. 2. Take the 86S past the Salten Sea to HWY 78 and make a right. There is a border patrol check point on the opposite side of the highway here. 3. Take the 78 for about 20 miles and you can make a right turn on any of the dirt roads, but the main entrance is at the Ocotillo Wells Ranger station on the right side also. There is a sign. If you are going for your first time I suggest getting there before dark. It can be confusing to find at night.

Directions to Glamis from San Diego
1. Take HWY 78 past Julian. 2. It's about 35 miles east of Julian on the left side. simple.
